Skills, Requirements

  • Work with Director of Digital Operations to define and implement quality assurance practices, procedures, and standards across varied services (print, digital)
  • Ongoing research of quality assurance standards with recommendations for ongoing process improvement.
  • Work with various groups including project management, developers, and account managers to understand goals of projects and testing needs.
  • Develop and evaluate use cases and requirements to create test plans, test cases, execute test cases, document results and report bugs.
  • Conduct web application testing across mobile and desktop platforms (Mac, Windows, mobile phones and tablets)
  • Experience proofreading content across various mediums (web, email, print, social, PR) to ensure quality
  • Ability to identify and analyze defects, issues, risks, and action items across varied projects
  • Take a lead role in driving recommendations on Quality Assurance methodology and Test environment improvements; use knowledge and experience in solving complex problems.
  • Develop and provide status reports to Project Managers and leadership on projects
  • Ability to document test findings and communicate testing results to members of the development team


  • 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on digital
  • Excellent time management skills & strong attention to detail are mandatory
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects
  • Strong proofreading skills in both digital and traditional spaces
  • Experience with testing tools such as Browserstack
  • Exposure to automated testing tools and development of test scripts
  • Exposure to Team Foundation Server
  • Familiarity with W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and experience with accessibility and performance testing
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working as part of a cross-functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in testing Web applications with comprehensive knowledge of browsers and user interface testing techniques
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Familiarity with W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
  • Experience using issue tracking software (Team Foundation Server, JIRA, Trello, others)
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS a plus
  • Experience running and writing basic SQL queries to validate test results
  • Agile experience a plus
  • API testing is a plus


Normal office environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time including extensive use of PC equipment.
